Biography

Since the day he first stepped to the mic,Mr sly4life has made an impact in the game.
His raw untamed flow and intense lyrical presense, paired with Criminal Mynds mastering skills
and u've got a team like no other. For close to a decade now, Mr Sly4life along with his fellow
roster mates from Doa Records have been giving the underground something to talk about
Weather it be their banging tracks, Their no tolerence style when it comes to other mcs,
or there many random dissapearences from the game, the boys from Doa have always been about doing it their way.

Growing up in the streets of Oshawa Ontario, Booze and the streets were the only things around, so sly found solice in his music. Sly began his career in highy school, competing in random battles and entering any competitions available in an attempt to get his name out. in 2004 through a series of coinsidences, Mr Sly4life met up with Criminal Mynd and together along with blaze they recorded "Fearless" thus beginning a long and elustrious career in the rap game. After recording his first and only song, Sly lost contact with Criminal Mynd seemingly dissapeared returning to the battle scene to take on any one that would take the challenge.

It would be almost a year until the world would here from sly again, But in early 2005 Mr Sly4life and Criminal Mynd hooked up once again and recorded "We Don't Give A ****". With the song getting more and more play Criminal Mynd and Sly4life along with Burgz C-Train and Blaze formed Doa Records. Throughout 2005 Sly and Criminal Mynd recorded some of their earliest hits including "Crack Hit" "Kryptonite" and "You Can Get It".

In 2006, Sly went on a different career path and began to drop many solo tracks including "Where I'm From", "We Ain't Stoppin", and "You Want War" a track aimed at enemy mc Fro. The tracks began to get all play all over the city and durham region and to Slys surprise the city began to demand some new material from the up and coming mc.

From 2007 on, Mr Sly4life continued to drop bombs on the rap game with tracks like "We Run ****" "Lightin Up My Spliff" and an abbundance of tracks, and in early 2007 Sly dropped his first mixtape "The Hood Is Back" which spawned some of his biggest hits to date including "Cant Leave Rap Alone" " I Try" "The Lords Judgement" and many more

2008 also proved to be a decent year for the rapper, as he spent most of the year doing performances and hooking up with local talent to produce some interesting callabo's producing bangers such as "We Don't Stop Wit It" Feat FrostBite, "East 9 Murda Music" Feat Kingpin and "Clapped Down" Feat Streetegic and FrostBite. In the summer of 08, Sly returned to doing solo tracks and released the song "Get Gutter" which proved to be his most popular song of his career. The song made mp3's and subwoofer's everywhere as the song brought pride to the 416 and the 905 and the poeple responded with large amounts of downloads and feedback. The song also spawned a remix feat local artists KingPin and FrostBite.

Since mid 08 Mr Sly4life has been inactive from the game and hasnt released a new track since january 09, But with the time off Sly has said he feels ready to go and while admitting it has been a while, he has perfected his lyric game and has a while series of mixtapes ready to drop on the world.

The world has been waitin and now Mr Sly4life is back and ready to step back into the limelight.
